Bousd Cottage is a fabulous new build holiday cottage with views across private grounds and farmland. The cottage sleeps four and is immaculately presented and equipped throughout with just about everything you will ever need on a self catering holiday including all the little things that you always need but so rarely find. The accommodation: Ground Floor - 1 double and 1 twin bedroom; Bathroom- under floor heating, double ended bath and walk
in shower. First Floor Kitchen equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer; Lounge-dining room with comfy sofas, chairs, occasional tables, Free-View TV and DVD. You will have noticed that Bousd Cottage is configured with the reception rooms on the first floor of the cottage; this is so that you can enjoy the far-reaching views across the farmland to Ben Ledi together with the abundance of animals and wildlife including red squirrels and deer. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention that the chickens may come to say hello and this just adds to the whole rural living experience you get when you holiday at Bousd Cottage. Rural it is but without isolation as t
he pretty town of Callander (often described as the Gateway to The Highlands) with its gift shops, tearooms, bars and restaurants is just 10 minutes away. Callander is a popular base for tourists exploring the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and 'Rob Roy Country', or stopping off on their way up into the Highlands. There are many places to explore: the beautiful Bracklinn Falls and the River Keltie have enthralled  people for generations, to the west footpaths and cycle tracks follow the old Callander to Oban railway, and from the summit of Callander Crags there are spectacular views over the town of Callander and beyond to Stirling and the Forth Estuary.  Joanne & George are the two friendly owners of this lovely cottage who told me they aimed to create a special holiday cottage for guests. Well they certainly have without it would appear any thought of cost. What a fabulous holiday cottage you have created. Well done Joanne and George. Fabulous!
